Registered agent in California
Every LLC and corporation formed or registered in California must keep a registered agent: a person or company with a street address in California that receives legal papers and state notices on the company's behalf and passes them on. If you live outside the US, you cannot be your own agent, so you hire one. See what a registered agent does.
Physical address in California
California also wants a street address for the company, and it goes on your formation filing. We provide one in Northridge, California. You can use it as your company's address instead of your own, which keeps your home address out of the public record where the state allows it.
